We use personal data to:
- create, authenticate and operate your MOREWORK account;
- provide the business-management, AI, marketing, publishing, enquiry, receptionist, review and Find Work features you request;
- create previews and record approvals before publishing customer-approved content;
- connect authorised business channels and send content to destinations you select;

- protect accounts and the service against misuse, fraud and security threats; and

4. Our lawful bases
Under UK data-protection law, we rely on one or more lawful bases depending on the activity:
- Contract where processing is necessary to provide the MOREWORK service you request;
- Legitimate interests for proportionate service security, fraud prevention, reliability, support and business administration;
- Consent where consent is appropriate, for example certain optional communications or connections; and
- Legal obligation where we must process or retain information to comply with law.
5. AI features
MOREWORK includes AI-assisted features. Information needed for a requested AI feature may be sent to an AI service provider to generate the requested output. We aim to minimise the information supplied and to keep customer approval in the workflow where content is prepared for publishing. AI-generated content should be reviewed before use.
6. Photos, voice and device data
Photos or media are processed when you choose to upload or capture them for a MOREWORK feature. MOREWORK does not intentionally require your device's precise GPS location for normal use. Voice input is user initiated. The exact permissions presented can depend on the released app version, device and operating system.
7. Who we share data with
We may use trusted service providers to operate MOREWORK, including providers for cloud hosting, database and authentication, AI processing, payments, communications, telephony, email, security and customer-authorised publishing. Current production services may include Supabase, Vercel, OpenAI, Stripe and Twilio, together with connected services or channels you explicitly choose to use.
We may also disclose information to professional advisers, regulators, courts or public authorities where required by law. We do not sell customer personal data to advertisers.
8. International transfers
Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where UK data-protection law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we use an applicable legal mechanism such as UK adequacy regulations or approved contractual safeguards.
9. Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including providing the service, maintaining security and audit records, meeting legal or accounting obligations, resolving disputes and supporting account closure or recovery. Retention periods vary according to the type of information and the reason it is held.
10. Your choices and rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to request access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection or portability of your personal data. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw that consent.
To make a privacy request, contact James@morework.uk. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
11. Account and data deletion
Where account-deletion controls are available in MOREWORK, you can use them to request closure of your account and deletion of associated customer-controlled data, subject to information we must retain for legal, security, accounting or dispute-resolution purposes. You can also contact us at James@morework.uk.
12. Customer-provided third-party data
If you upload photographs, customer details or other information about another person, you are responsible for ensuring that you have an appropriate lawful basis or permission to use that information. Avoid uploading unnecessary sensitive or identifying information.
13. Security
We use technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data, including authenticated access, customer-workspace separation, controlled storage and backend access controls. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
14. Cookies and local storage
MOREWORK uses necessary browser storage for authentication, session persistence, security and customer-requested functionality. We also store your advertising-cookie choice on this browser for up to 180 days.
If you accept advertising cookies, Microsoft Advertising Universal Event Tracking (UET) measures website visits and completed free-trial business registrations to help us understand and improve our advertising. Microsoft may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser information, page URL and advertising identifiers, including a Microsoft ad click identifier. Our signup event does not include your email address, phone number, business name or customer records. Enhanced conversion tracking is not enabled by this integration.
The Microsoft tag is not loaded until you accept advertising cookies. You can reject them and continue using MOREWORK, or withdraw consent through the Cookie choices button. Withdrawal stops our signup-event reporting and tells Microsoft to deny advertising storage. Microsoft cookies on other domains are controlled by Microsoft. We use session storage after acceptance to prevent duplicate signup events in this browser session.
Microsoft processes advertising information under its Privacy Statement. You can review Microsoft's privacy controls there.
15. Children
MOREWORK is a business service for adults and is not designed for children.
16. Complaints
If you have concerns about how we handle your personal data, please contact us first at James@morework.uk. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
17. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when MOREWORK, our service providers or legal requirements change. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated date.
